Kismet

Anyway here's Wonderwall

Description:
Bio:

Large family-like situation, think “it takes a village” but in this case it literally did, went off largely to live by himself, loves all of his village family but especially his sister, she told him stories of old and forgotten gods, she served a bigger role in raising him than their parents, not for lack of caring, he was just extremely attached to her, the village worked as a self sustaining fairly rural community with maybe 200 people, there was only a local tribunal of government that dealt with all issues in a court-like system, but they were few and far between given the “everyone knows everyone” nature of small towns, Kismet’s mother served on the tribunal, as did a man of the same age and an older woman, the village itself was very pleasant and the surrounding woods were beautiful, kismet really had no desire to leave until his sister fell ill, he didn’t know how to save her, but he knew he could find out, digging up all the tomes and scrolls his sister had on the old gods and grabbed as many of their talismans as he could find, he set out to find at least one of them that could help him somehow, he wandered off into the woods knowing one day he would return to his home village to one day save his sister, she was hesitant to believe any of the old gods would appear for him, but she believed his determination would carry him through and help her, he was no hero by any means, and they both knew this, but she was extremely important to him, he wasn’t ready to let her go, and she wasn’t ready to go yet, he met several gods along the way, such as Istus, who would bless his talismans and protect him on his journey, but said they could do nothing else to aid his quest, that is until he came across Ioun, who offered him a much greater gift than protection alone, she offered him her protection as well as her prophecies, in return, his soul would become hers, he would change physically to represent this transaction (the wings, etc), and she would give him a new name to show her claim on him, and thus he became Kismet, meaning destiny or fate, she did not give him a cure directly, but she allowed him to see clearly the path he needed to take, she smiled upon her first servant in millennia and said, “Go my son, for your quest shall begin”
